The Top 5 Graceful Spaces Pantries

The pantry is arguably one of the most visited rooms in a home! An optimally organized pantry will save you money, maximize your space and make even the busiest weeknight meal times much more pleasant! Each pantry we organize is unique to each client. Our teams bring unique solutions to any size space, as well as, mirror the unique designs of every home! We are giving you all the dream pantry inspiration by breaking down our top 5 Graceful Spaces pantries!

The Westview Retreat

The pantry in the Westview Retreat is the perfect combination of form and function where we tailored the product to match the decor of this beautiful home. With any space and project, we prioritize our client’s daily routines and goals to ensure the systems we install support their lifestyle.

Details worth noting:

  • Baskets were used for everyday items such as bread, broths, and cooking ingredients.

  • To tie in the homes metal accents we sourced these Neat Method baskets and Tosca baskets.

  • Every basket, turntable, and canister was clearly labeled for the entire family to easily access and put away items in their proper place.

PRO TIP: Remember to measure your shelves before you purchase baskets to ensure your product will fit perfectly!

The Wonderful Waterway

Our Graceful Spaces Charleston team headed to Isle of Palms in South Carolina to work on a truly unique and fun staging project. We helped bring this home to life to show potential buyers what life in this beautiful coastal home can look like!

Details worth noting:

  • Because these shelves were large we needed to ensure every item had a specific space and did not get lost in the back of shelves or corners. Larger bins were used to maximize depth and to store large items such as chip and snack bags.

  • We used tall canisters and turntables to create a functional and streamlined look without crowding the available shelf space.

  • To add a unique design element, overflow items were stored below in baskets from Serena and Lily.

PRO TIP: Under the shelf space is a great spot for all of those overflow items you purchased during your last Costco run, including extra snacks, paper towels, trash bags, and other frequently-used overflow items.

Product Upgrade

We believe when you love a space you’re more likely to keep it maintained. At the 1900 Waterways pantry, these Serena & Lily baskets were the perfect upgrade to maximize storage, while maintaining beauty, without crowding the narrow space!

The Lovely Lakeside

The Lovely Lakeside is a mecca for entertaining, so we honored that in everything we did within the kitchen and pantry zones. To keep things light and bright, we expanded on our client’s collection of clear OXO canisters, complimenting them with woven baskets.

Details worth noting:

  • Kids snacks were placed within reach in lower drawers for easy access and to promote independence!

  • Can risers were placed at eye level for full visibility and to maximize vertical space.

  • Baking items and frequently-used dry pastas, rice, and loose snacks (nuts, crackers, pretzels, etc.) were decanted to help reduce the amount of boxes and bags. (Decanting also allows you to easily assess what you have and what you need.)

PRO TIP: Worried about losing instructions or expiration dates after decanting? Cut the cooking instructions off of the box and tape it to the back or bottom of your canister for a quick reference. We also recommend writing the expiration date on the back with a dry erase marker.

The Rancic Reveal

If you haven’t had the opportunity to tour Giuliana Rancic’s kitchen and pantry, HERE is your chance! The Graceful Spaces team worked their magic creating systems and solutions tailored to the Rancic family’s busy lifestyle and we’re so thrilled with the final result!

SPOILER ALERT: Phase two with the Rancic’s may or may not be coming soon;) Sign up here to be the first to know!

The Allendale Abode

We were lucky enough to tour the space as it was being built, consulting with the owners and tradespeople to ensure the built-ins would anticipate our client’s every need. To create the perfect pantry, we swapped out the deep cabinets with more pop-out drawers to accommodate everyday ingredients, snacks, and entertaining supplies.

Details worth noting:

  • An adhesive organizer bin (perfect for instantly creating storage in any space) was used on the inner pantry door to store bag clips.

  • Turntables were used for oils, vinegars, sauces, and spreads for easy access!

  • The cabinet above the pantry was the perfect place to vertically store serving platters with the YouCopia cookware rack.

PRO TIP: You should be able to get 5 or more items on the turntable, otherwise you may not be utilizing your space efficiently.

PRO TIP: Bringing in an organizer while you build is the best way to ensure your custom built-ins work for your needs. Our team will walk through the space, identifying opportunities to streamline the organization and maximize space. Want to take it even further? The Wandering Meadows

What’s better than one dreamy pantry? Two! At the Wandering Meadows our Austin team had an opportunity to create a “snacking and breakfast” zone within the kitchen and organize the main pantry for cooking and baking essentials!

Details worth noting:

  • To promote easy access to daily snacks and breakfast items, we designated a separate pantry in the kitchen!

PRO TIP: Consider a double pantry! Use the main pantry for cooking and baking essentials and establish a space in the kitchen for a “snacking” pantry with easy access to snacks and breakfast items!

*BONUS* NEVER BEFORE SEEN: The Heavenly Homestead

Each shelf and area was meticulously thought through to zone plan for multiple uses in this pantry such as cooking and baking essentials, first aid and medications, and a small office nook.

Details Worth Noting

  • Open front bins were used for cooking essentials such as pasta, cooking packets, and mixes.

  • Heavier items, such as beverages and water were placed on the bottom shelf for easy access, restock, and lifting.

  • The top shelf of the pantry was used to display cookbooks, recipes, and complementary decor. (The top shelf is a great place to store items you use on a yearly basis (holiday-specific items), as well as seldom-used appliances and serving ware, or cookbooks and recipes!)

PRO TIP: Focus on how you use a space instead of how you think it should be used. Each clients needs are different. When zoning out your pantry think of your families unique needs and habits, rather than compare it to another!
